Deputy terms of service
Who we are
Deputy is a product of Razin, part of Falaq. Falaq is the trading name of Zain Kamal Raisan, a sole trader in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Zain Kamal Raisan, trading as Falaq.
By installing Deputy, buying Deputy Pro or continuing to use either, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Deputy.
Our reseller, Creem
Payment for Deputy Pro is processed by Creem as the merchant of record. Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia) sells Deputy Pro to you as our reseller and handles payment, sales tax and VAT, invoices and receipts. Creem's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
What Deputy Pro is
Deputy is developer software: a browser extension and a local program, deputy-mcp, that let AI coding tools you run yourself (such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor) read and fill web pages through typed tools, in your own browser. The Deputy Pro subscription gives you a license key for the Deputy extension from the Chrome Web Store and for deputy-mcp, and access to our hosted features (browser_look, browser_ask and delegate_goal) up to 5,000 actions a month and 500 a day. These are hard limits: when one is reached, the hosted features stop until the day or month resets, and you are never charged more.
A free, source-available version of Deputy is on GitHub under its own license. These terms do not change that license.
Subscriptions and payment
- Deputy Pro costs $9.99 a month or $95.99 a year. Sales tax or VAT is added or included as Creem calculates it for your country, and shown before you pay.
- You pay in advance for each month or year. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time at deputy.razin.ai/manage with your license key, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your license key keeps working to the end of the period you paid for.
- If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
- If a payment fails, Creem may retry it. If it cannot be collected, your Pro access ends.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason. See our refund policy.
Your license key
Your license key is for you. Do not share, sell or publish it. If a key is shared or leaked, we may replace it with a new one, which we send to you, and the old key stops working.
Acceptable use
You must not use Deputy or Deputy Pro to:
- break any law, or help anyone else do so;
- commit fraud, send spam, or deceive people;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or access data or accounts you are not authorised to access;
- get around CAPTCHAs or other measures a website uses to keep automated access out;
- attack, probe, scrape, overload or get around the limits of our servers, or spread malware;
- resell or share access to Deputy Pro, or build a competing service from it.
Deputy acts in your browser on websites you and your agent choose, and asks you before it submits a form. You are responsible for what your agent does there, and for following those websites' own terms.
AI features
browser_look, browser_ask and delegate_goal give answers produced by AI models. Answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important before you rely on it. They are not professional, legal, financial or medical advice.
You are responsible for the questions, pages and screenshots you send, and for having the right to send them. You keep your rights in them, and you let us process them only to answer your request, as our privacy policy describes.
Ownership
We own Deputy, Deputy Pro and their software, designs and names, apart from the open-source parts and the version on GitHub, which are under their own licenses. Buying Deputy Pro gives you a right to use it under these terms, not ownership.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Deputy Pro running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change Deputy and its features. If a change takes away something you pay for, we will tell you first, and you can cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your period.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if a payment is not made, or if your use puts our service, other users or anyone else at risk of fraud or harm. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first. You can stop using Deputy at any time.
Disclaimer and liability
Deputy is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what websites, agents or AI models do, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Deputy Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live. Where these terms conflict with Creem's Buyer Terms about your purchase, Creem's Buyer Terms apply.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date above and, for changes that matter, tell Deputy Pro customers by email before they apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without taking away any mandatory protection the law of your country gives you.
